What is Nutec?
Nutec is a man made fiber board. It is manufactured by compressing portland cement and various fibers to produce boards of various thicknesses. Nutec is actually a trade name for a South African made fiber board, manufactured by Everite, but it has become the generic name for all such boards. Other brands of cement fiber board are available to suit your budget.
Its just a cladding
Nutec is just the outer skin of the structure. It provides the weather proofing needed to make a building useable, but it doesn't provide any structural strength or stability. That comes from the underlying timber frame. Our timber frames are built using SABS approved wood by professional carpenters. They are strong rigid, and built to last.

Foundations
A good Nutec wendy house or home starts with the right foundations.
There are three choices, timber pallet, sunken poles, or concrete slab. When it comes to Nutec structures we recommend, where possible to use a concrete slab foundation. It is more costly, but you are investing in Nutec for a reason, so building it on top of temporary foundations seems a waste.
Timber frame
A solid Nutec wendy house comes from a solid timber frame. Nutec is a wonderful product at keeping the elements outside, but offers little to no structural strength.
We construct timber frames from SABS approved materials and comply to all local and national building regulations. All work is carried out by trained professionals.
Plumbing & Electrics
Unless its a basic garden shed chances are you will want some water and electricity in your Nutec Wendy house. That needs to be achieved safely and legally.
